Alot of things are happening or planned for Queen of Tears this past week leading to their final episodes ep 15 and ep 16 which is due to air tonight 0427 and tomorrow 0428.
Firstly, the broadcasting timing has been brought forward to 9.10pm KST, 10 minutes earlier than its usual timing – this is likely more important for South Korea viewers simply because of the the ratings that they need to bring in to break Crash Landing’s record. tvN must be hoping this would happen as they have a post on their IG announcing a new ratings promise that would be something of BaekHong. What it is, I’m not sure, but fans are wishing/hoping. (Note: previously, one of the director had said they would do “some sort of a clip of everyone doing something” at the press-con and K-netz was like, nooo, we want BaekHong, not a clip put together.)
Secondly, tvN arranged another Wrap Up party that is happening today 0427 and not sure if I read it right, they are broadcasting the wrap party live, but my guess is it would be just the arrival. This is the second wrap party being held, there was one held earlier this year (sometime in Feb, I think) when filming ended. This is a pre-filmed production series, not live-shooting btw.
And then at a Mido branded event on 0425, Kim SooHyun appeared and there were so many press there, and one of them asked him if he is going, he said yes, and they asked where, KSH asked his assistant on the spot where, and told the reporter the location.
Thirdly, tvN posted some celebratory shots of the leads for achieving 20% ratings. It has been 4 years since tvN has a drama achieving 20% – tvN is so excited over this. Ratings is everything for the dramas and broadcasters.
