Based on Vlinkage and Datawin, we have some numbers to see how the new dramas are faring against one another in their first week.
21 June is the day that all three new dramas have aired. Character ratings wise, we have Xiao Zhan, Zhao LuSi and Dilreba rounding the top 3. Followed by Bai JingTing, Xu Kai and Song Yi taking the 4-6th spots. Zhou YiRan came in at 18th while Chen ZheYuan at 19th.
Interestingly, on 22 June, Zhao LuSi flew to #1, Xiao Zhan relegated to #2, and Bai Jing Ting at #3. Followed by Dilreba, Xu Kai and Song Yi in the 4-6th spots. Chen ZheYuan flew to #7 and Zhou YiRan hovers at 16th.
For web dramas, Destined and Hidden Love are fighting for top spots while Xu Kai’s drama Snow Eagle Lord debuts at no. 4. Zhou YiRan’s When I Fly Towards You at no. 5 which is doing very well given how the drama is an all-newbie cast.
Datawin combines the data across web dramas and satellite TV dramas so their board shows a different view/ranking. On 22 June, Destined is #1, Hidden Love is #2 while William Chan’s drama A Date With The Future is #3. Zhou YiRan’s When I Fly Towards You and Xu Kai’s Snow Eagle Lord at #4 and #5 respectively.
I didn’t grab Datawin’s 21 June ratings but we have a rough idea of how the dramas are doing. Next week, the viewerships would be even clearer as the story moves past the initial background setup, so we will know whose dramas have the legs to carry the ratings.
