This is going to be a pictures-heavy post of Love Like The Galaxy Part 2 <月升沧海> EP 8-9 because no words can express the exquisite acting by Zhao Lusi and Wu Lei, especially when she cried over how she was bullied earlier by 5th Princess.
EP 8-9: Cheng ShaoShang was pushed into the waters by 5th Princess and her group of friends and they even let in a snake in the waters to bite her. Luckily she knows how to swim and managed to escape.
That evening, Ling Buyi came by to visit her, exclaiming how hard it has been to see her because she’s busy with the Queen’s birthday celebration and he misses her so he had to stop by.
Cheng ShaoShang was still trying to get over the terrible incident but with Ling Buyi’s appearance and he praising her about her capability and ability to overcome the challenges in the palace, her entire being suddenly just broke down and she flew into Ling Buyi’s embrace crying and asking for a few very tight hugs.
After she stopped crying, Cheng ShaoShang just said that she misses home. And then one thing led to another, she asked for defence tips if someone were to push her from behind which he began to teach her and then they ended up on the bed. Despite all of that, towards the end, she still refused to tell Ling Buyi what had happened when he asked. Instead, she asked for another favour.
After watching the gifs, I have the stills version too! But the gifs would provide a better glimpse of ShaoShang’s pain at being bullied while trying to adapt to a new life in the palace.
We also had tons of goodies from the production team because yesterday 4th Aug was China’s Valentines Day – 七夕节. Both Leo Wu and Rosy Zhao posted a series of CP pics at 13:14. And 1314 means together forever in Chinese.
