I know it’s long overdue, that me watching this movie only just now. I’ve always known that this show is good and loves its theme song but just never got around to it until today.
Our Times, better known as <我的少女時代> in Chinese, is a Taiwanese movie following an ordinary office girl Lin Zhen Xin (Joe Chen starring the adult role) who is not having the best time of her adult times. She was flipping through her school book and that brought her thinking of her past when she was an ordinary high school girl.
As an ordinary high school girl Lin Zhen Xin (Vivian Sung starring the teen role) had a crush on the school’s most popular boy Ouyang Feifan (Dino Lee). One day, she received a chain letter and as what chain letter required, she re-sent it to three persons, the school bad boy Xu Taiyu (Darren Wang in the teen role), the math teacher she doesn’t like and the school belle. While reading the chain letter, Xu Taiyu got into a car accident, and so after he recovers, he hunted down the person who sent him the chain letter. And when he did, he threatened Lin Zhen Xin to be his errand girl, if not he will harm Ouyang Feifan.
I shall not reveal too much of the plot, but there are two cameos worth mentioning: Andy Lau as himself and Jerry Yan in the adult role of Xu Taiyu.
